A guitar-playing cricket named Ket leads a band that entertains carefree bugs, while Antoinette, an ant heiress, lives in a strict, music-free anthill. Despite their differences, a bond forms between them. Antoinette warns the crickets about the impending winter, but they ignore her. When Antoinette is kidnapped by the ambitious ant Antheodor, Ket and his friends step up to rescue her.
