Suhyun, a career woman working as a broadcast writer at a TV station, lives a comfortable life with her lawyer husband Jihun and their only daughter, Seppyo. Wanting to cover the sensational serial murders of women on her show, Suhyun persuades the producer to change the scheduled theme. ©SBS

Dong-chan, a former detective who now runs a private investigation agency. He's competent at his job, but has a bad habit of losing control when he drinks. One night, he drinks too much with the wife of a yakuza client and commits a one-night mistake, landing him in a life-threatening situation with her husband. ©SBS

At the same time, Dong-chan and Su-hyun, who had sunk to the bottom of the reservoir, escaped death. However, the world they returned to was two weeks before Se-pyo's death. Su-hyun confessed everything to the police but was not believed. Ignored even by her husband, Ji-hoon, she resolved to catch the murderer on her own and save Se-pyo's life.©SBS

Defying fate, Su-hyun tries to save Se-pyo's life. Yet his efforts prove futile; the second woman is captured by the killer and meets a tragic end. Still unable to give up, Su-hyun tracks down the third victim, Mimi, and attempts to contact the killer by posing as her. However, the killer sees through Su-hyun's plan and attacks Mimi when she returns home with Dong-chan.©SBS

Bon-sup, the criminal who fled to the construction site, and Dong-chan pursuing him. After a fierce battle, Bon-sup is arrested but released due to a lack of solid physical evidence. Dong-chan and Soo-hyun break into Bong-sup's house searching for evidence, but what they find there is a photo of Dong-chan's mother, Sun-nyo, and his nephew, Yeong-gyu.©SBS

The transport vehicle carrying Bong-sup was involved in an accident, allowing Bong-sup to escape. Dong-chan, who witnessed the incident, gave chase, but Bong-sup was suddenly struck and killed with a metal bat by a young man on a motorcycle who appeared out of nowhere. That young man was also struck by a car and lost his life.©SBS

Caught in Munsu's trap, Suhyun is imprisoned, but Dongchan's quick thinking leads to Suhyun's rescue and Munsu's arrest. Mun-seok turns out not to be the tattooed man they were pursuing, and the search for the culprit hits another snag. However, Dong-chan obtains crucial information from Mun-seok: the tattooed man was a customer at the shop.©SBS

The father of Mina's unborn child was Jihun. Having decided to separate, Suhyun left home and stayed at a hotel with Seppyeol. But while they were out eating, their room was ransacked. Feeling threatened, the two sought refuge at Dongchan's house. ©SBS

Don-chan chases the tattooed man who kidnapped Su-hyun. After a fierce fight, he suffers serious injuries. Yet for some reason, the tattooed man leaves Su-hyun behind, saying, "Don't interfere if you don't want to die," and walks away. Suspecting Ji-hoon's suspicious behavior, Su-hyun finds a photo of Dong-chan's lover, Su-jeong, taken ten years ago in Mujin, inside Se-pyo's treasure box.©SBS

The investigation in Mujin reveals suspicions linking the serial murders from ten years ago to Seppyul's kidnapping case. However, Jin-woo, who seems to know the circumstances from back then, is mentally unstable and only mutters enigmatic words, leaving the crucial details unclear.©SBS

Suhyun, kidnapped by the tattooed man, is rescued by Dongchan at the last moment. However, Suhyun is mistaken for having injured Mina and Dongchan for stealing a police car, forcing them to flee from the police. Meanwhile, learning that Suhyun is closing in on the truth behind the incident from ten years ago, Jihun forcibly isolates Suhyun in a hospital.©SBS

Suhyun and Dongchan track the vanished Seppyul's footsteps. Items left behind by the killer in the Seppyul and Hongcheon murders were discovered in an empty warehouse on the outskirts of Seoul, but that killer had already died in a traffic accident. Tae-oh, who knows something about the incident from 10 years ago, is arrested by the police.©SBS

The painting Jin-woo drew on the hospital wall with fluorescent paint, and the film left in Yeong-gyu's old camera, both proved that Dong-chan's brother Dong-ho was not the killer of Seo-jung. But the ring belonging to the victim of the Mujin incident, which could prove Dong-ho's innocence, was missing. But Se-pyoel is taken from her hiding place by an underling of the presidential chief of staff, Myung-han, and goes missing again. However, from a toy left behind at the hiding place, Su-hyun learns a crucial clue is hidden in the surveillance camera in Se-pyoel's room.©SBS

Having exhausted all means to save his daughter, Su-hyun makes a final gamble by appealing directly to the President, revealing that the true killer of Su-jeong is the President's son, Shin-yu. Meanwhile, fearing further consequences after retrieving the ring, Myung-han orders the tattooed man to silence Se-pyo-reul by killing her. Soohyun and Dongchan rush to Mujin Reservoir. ©SBS
