Pontifex Rembrary is the most powerful leader of the Otherworld, where people worship Redlin. On the day of his baptism ceremony, Rembrary loses consciousness due to the Demon Lord’s invasion. When he wakes up, it’s South Korea in 2022, and everyone calls him Woo Yeon-woo, a member of the boy band, named Wild Animal. On stage, he makes an irrevocably terrible mistake.

Dal feels sorry for Yeon-woo, who claims to be Rembrary, and decides to help him. Though unwilling, Rembrary begins living as an idol, but his straightforward words and behavior continually cause incidents. Eventually, he finds a way to return to his world.

However, Rembrary decides to continue living as Woo Yeon-woo. During a singing contest show, he completes his performance successfully but faces an unexpected crisis. On the second stage, he senses something ominous—especially with the arrival of an unexpected new partner.

Rembrary manages to overcome the crisis and realizes the Demon Lord is involved. He begins to trace Hongwoodaedae, a secret religious group that Woo Yeon-woo had been investigating. Meanwhile, the Demon Lord’s follower finally reveals himself to Rembrary and Dal.

Rembrary’s popularity soars after his performance, but conspiracy theories about him also begin to spread. Dal works hard to protect Rembrary's true identity. Rembrary decides to shoot a drama starring Woo-shin, but ends up trapped in Jo-woon’s scheme.

Dal tries to rescue Rembrary from Jo-woon’s trap. Meanwhile, someone else is targeting Rembrary. He learns more about the real Woo Yeon-woo through letters exchanged with fans. As Wild Animal prepares for a comeback, Dal witnesses something unbelievable.

A suspicious new boy band of five members makes their debut. Rembrary begins to distance himself from Dal. Upon learning the truth about Woo Yeon-woo, Dal falls into despair. Meanwhile, Rembrary reconnects with Oh Jeong-shin, and their heavenly contract places him in a difficult situation.

Rembrary receives shocking news about Hongwoodaedae in the Underworld. In order to meet Redlin, he agrees to appear on a dating show while capturing goblins. Meanwhile, Dal is troubled by black magic.

Shaken by Dal’s confession, Rembrary struggles to remain calm. A photo of him and Dal becomes a big scandal, making Dal to make a decision to protect him. Meanwhile, Shin Jo-woon begins plotting to bring Rembrary down. Longing for Dal, Rembrary finds himself caught in a deepening crisis.

Rembrary suddenly becomes a criminal. Public criticism and condemnation pour in, leaving him in despair. Dal visits Hong Lin in an effort to clear things up. Wild Animal prepares for a joint performance with Evil Boys at an awards ceremony. While trying to prevent Evil Boys from winning, Rembrary uncovers an unexpected truth. Jung-seo receives an offer from Hongwoodaedae that he can’t refuse. Meanwhile, Shin Jo-woon regains his powers and heads to the ceremony.

After returning to the present, Rembrary learns from the Queen of the Underworld how to stop Redlin—but doing so will require a tremendous sacrifice. Meanwhile, Jo-woon discovers the truth about Redlin and is deeply shaken. Rembrary, Dal, and Sa Gam-jae head to Hongwoodaedae, each making a crucial choice to put an end to Redlin.
