The Exiled Heavy Knight Knows How to Game the System

Elymas invited a young female Pierrot named Ruche, who had just been kicked out of the party after being deemed a burden, to join his party. Elymas, trusting in Ruche's hidden talent, went to a difficult dungeon together with her.

After defeating the Patchwork Bears and leveling up, the Golden Raana appeared before them. It is a bonus monster known for its high probability of dropping extra valuable rare item. Elymas and Ruche must rely on their knowledge and luck to defeat this foe, with its extraordinary speed and defense.

Elymas and Ruche defeated the Golden Raana and leveled up. However, an abnormal situation called 'The Wandering,' where the Dreamlord walks around the dungeon, has occurred. Elymas decided to give up his chance to flee and fight against the Dreamlord, in order to let Ruche escape.

Elymas fought the Dreamlord, Embryo, alone, but was being cornered in a critical situation by its fierce attacks. However, he is taking a final gamble together with Ruche, who returned without regard for the danger.

Elymas and Ruche, who cleared a difficult dungeon, are receiving rewards and rapidly being promoted to D-rank adventurers. With the rewards he has, Elymas revisits the Hall of Broken Grimoires to obtain the desired "Fang of Smoldering Insanity" skill book.

Elymas, who has just obtained the skill book, adds the Fang of Smoldering Insanity to his skill tree at once. At that very moment, Aizas, Elymas' father who had heard about his activity, and Malice, who has a twisted obsession with Elymas, visit the Adventurer's Guild.

Elymas keeps getting hit by Cold-As-Steel Cutter fierce attacks unleashed by Malice, the Master Swordsman. Despite being driven into a corner due to overwhelming gap in their stats, Elymas activates the Fang of Smoldering Insanity and exchanges the skill's risk and instability in order to unleash the Heavy Knight's true power and turn the tide of battle.
