Dream Season: The Journey

Mark and Terry mix up Dream Season again when they recruit all amateur teams. Teams from Illinois, Texas, Minnesota, Kentucky, and Pennsylvania share their story as they get casted for the next run of Dream Season. kwhunting kwwhitetail

Team Minnesota get as much family time in as they can while they can on a bear hunt. The Standiford couple have been selfless in the preseason and thinking of others in need. Team Kentucky are wanting to start strong with kills. Team Texas gets a tough reminder and motivation to keep moving forward.

Team Kentucky are scent blocker pros despite being amateurs, but Scott offers a few tips being a pro himself. Team Minnesota are hunting a biologic field from a ground blind late September. Team Pennsylvania lays down a buck while Teams Texas, Illinois, and Minnesota are laying down some good footage.

The teams meet up in Missouri to begin some team competition with a long distance shoot. Team Illinois then makes a great encounter with whitetail and Team Texas make an encounter a bobcat on their hunt and maybe a little something more. Team Illinos and Team Pennsylvania begin to bump heads early on which seems to uproot Team Pennsylvania.

Team Illinois is really hoping to get something down on the ground in Missouri. The challenge is a muzzleloader distance shot from both long and short distances. Team Kentucky bumps Team PA in hopes of getting a lot more encounters than they've seen this whole time.

The teams head back home to hunt their home turf. Some teams learn some lessons on what Dream Season is about, make some encounters, and what it means to be amateur.

Biologic professional Grant Woods gives the teams a lesson and spreads his advice to the best of them. Team Illinois have firearms in their hands and looking to get it done. Team Kentucky score some points with some predator control.

The teams have converged to Oklahoma for some competitive hunting. Team Texas is looking to make a muzzleloader kill to get some points on the board. After hearing some sounds of success, Team Minnesota is up looking to get it done in a similar fashion. Team Illinois brings in a hog tag and then the teams get some unexpected news thanks to Team PA.

Late season hunt in PA, Keith Smith harvest the largest whitetail in Dream Season history. The teams set aside some time to focus on Catch-A-Dream. The earlier father and son Knetter team are brought back together under sad circumstances.

The teams are now on the last leg in Tara Wildlife in Mississippi and help out Michael Woody from Catch-A-Dream get a nice whitetail. After that, the standard of deer the teams are able to harvest are firmly established to not have a repeat of what happened in Oklahoma.

Bow hunting paradise in Mississippi, the teams make great encounters, but no one can seem to make a kill. The teams send a tearful send off to the Catch-A-Dream foundation as the hunters begin the final leg of the season on whitetail and turkey hunts in Tara Wildlife Outfitters.

Team PA hunt with a load of predator kills while Team Kentucky doesn't bring in any kills but connects with Catch-A-Dream and Team Minnesota brings down a double turkey tunover at KT Trophy Outfitters.

The season has ended and now it is time for the judges to make their decision as to who joins the Drury Outdoors pro team. The judges inquire about their experiences, the effect of the season on their personal life, Oklahoma, Catch-A-Dream and how Dream Season felt to them.
