Pikes Peak: On the Edge

Six drivers prepare for the ultimate racing challenge. Some are amateurs seeking glory while others are pros seeking redemption. All have their eyes on the summit of Pikes Peak, 14,115 feet into the sky.

Practice starts at 3 a.m. and is a challenge for drivers and cars alike. Blake Fuller in his Tesla and Jeff Zwart in his Porsche gain two unexpected competitors. Dai Yoshihara's car keeps breaking. Multiple cars crash in an unusually brutal practice.

The big day. Each driver only gets one shot to make it to the top of the mountain, but not all of them will reach the summit. One driver will surprise himself by destroying a record while another will come up just short.
