Lacking a few credits to graduate, college student Shuhei gets coerced into joining his school's sumo team so it can compete in the regional university tournament. Shuhei is soon joined by a ragtag group of new members, who are all driven by ulterior motives at first. But through trials, tribulations and some hilarious shenanigans, the team slowly learns how to cultivate a winning spirit.
