Reported by Na-yoon, Yeo-wool is taken to the police on charges of property damage and trespassing. Wracked with guilt, Sun-sang watches over her and I-chan, as rumors spread that I-chan and Jae-in are half-siblings.

The chairman's death throws the school into chaos, and Detective Gu Yong-hoe suspects Yeo-wool first. With Ji-seon, Jin-seol, Na-yoon, Mi-do, and Yeo-wool all connected, suspicion turns everyone against one another.

Detective Gu Yong-hoe finds Ji-yong's case files and grows more suspicious of Yeo-wool. She reveals that Ji-yong was deeply connected to HSC, Do Jin-seol, and Nam Ji-seon-and overheard Jin-seol and Ji-seon arguing before his death.

Ae-sun is arrested for throwing rocks at Yeo-wool's home. Shock leaves I-chan unable to speak, while Sun-sang comforts them. Later, Na-yoon visits Yeo-wool with an unexpected request.

Shocked to discover her home is filled with hidden cameras, Yeo-wool takes I-chan to Sun-sang's lodging and learns his true identity. As she nears the truth about Ji-yong, she falls into a dangerous trap while Na-yoon rises to lead HSC.

Na-yoon falls into a coma after a sudden accident, and Yeo-wool searches for the truth behind it. Meanwhile, Do-yeong finds her missing husband at a casino, while Ji-seon heads into a dark forest after receiving news of her husband's accident.

At Na-yoon's grave, I-chan comforts Jae-in. Yeo-wool fights to stop HSC's control from being transferred to Maggie Chen. Then, a familiar voice calls late at night, asking to meet her alone.

To survive, Yeo-wool transfers the suspended payment for HSC's management rights. Having achieved his goal, Ji-yong no longer needs her. Meanwhile, mysterious powder is found in Jun-mo's locker, and he reveals Ji-seon's secret.

Despite Yeo-wool's protests, Na-yoon joins her as she heads to a place of memories to rescue the abducted I-chan. At journey's end, can they finally take revenge on Ji-yong and reclaim their lost happiness?
