With the annual Franklin Beauty School hair show just a week away, Ms. J and her staff battle to keep the students focused.

Franklin Beauty School welcomes a new batch of Freshmen, but fresh faces mean fresh problems for the staff. When Queensley's attitude rubs the other students the wrong way, a school-wide uproar leaves Ms. J struggling to maintain order amongst the chaos.

Still reeling from the chaos that erupted at Franklin over "red bottoms," everyone feels the weight of Ms. J's wrath. But when the students come together to organize a surprise to show her their appreciation, her nosiness could ruin their plans.

As the students prepare for a high-profile client, drama erupts from a rumor that Queensley said "F Ms. J." Nobody is going to let Mama J be disrespected without a fight, and a melee in the parking lot leaves everyone struggling to pick up the pieces.

Alliances at Franklin have shifted, and everyone is determined to keep Queensley out of school for good, except for Mia/Ryan. But when Mia goes missing, Ms. J and the staff worry that she may have returned to her old ways, and could be gone for good.

To help the students get inspiration for a "wild west" photo shoot, Ms. J announces a surprise field trip. But things get out of control when Corey and Queensley come to blows and Mia/Ryan takes extreme measures to defend her friend in an all out brawl.

After the showdown at the ranch, Ms. J is determined to restore order and keep the students focused on hair, so she's enlisted everyone in beauty school bootcamp. But when Mia/Ryan returns to Franklin, not everyone is ready to forgive and forget.

The competition is fierce as the students all vie for creative director of the annual hair show. And when Queensley shows up unexpectedly, both students and staff need to put the drama aside and work as a team if they want to bring home the top prize.
