Philadelphia cop Mickey Fitzpatrick investigates a string of suspicious overdoses among sex workers in her district that might actually be homicides and to which she may share a dangerous personal connection.

Mickey struggles with her sister Kacey's disappearance as questions mount about the murdered women. Truman, Mickey's former partner, connects her to a new suspect, and she takes drastic measures to protect her son, Thomas.

Mickey puts herself at risk by following a lead connected to the pimp Dock. Later, she brings Thomas and Truman to Thanksgiving, where new evidence makes Mickey question everything she thought she knew.
