A young woman making a horror movie becomes increasingly aware of the horror in her own life. This beautifully shot psychodrama, with an astonishing array of female performances, bears comparison to the films of Bergman, Ferrara and Cassavetes, and gets under the skin of its leading character to create a tense, claustrophobic environment throughout.
