Steve Dulcich may be best known for co-hosting Roadkill Garage, but he’s also on the Engine Masters show and was the editor of Engine Masters magazine for ten years. That means he has a pretty good collection of engines for dyno testing, and in this Roadkill Extra you’ll get a peek inside his recently cleaned-up engine room.

Roadkill Garage episode 22 was all about our new ’68 Ford F100, the Ford Muscle Truck. As it turns out, some of the funniest moments didn’t make the final cut. So here ya go, all the lost bits have been gathered together in this Roadkill Extra.

As of last week, Roadkill completed filming on the last episode of season 6 and started in on season 7. In this Roadkill Extra, hosts Mike Finnegan and David Freiburger talk about how the show began, discuss their best and worst episodes, and address some people who whine that “the show isn't what it used to be” as they look forward to the season to come.

Here’s an outtake from Roadkill Garage episode 24, the one with improvements to the 1969 Chevy Impala we call the Crusher Impala because it’s loaded with the supercharged big-block that was formerly in the famous Crusher Camaro. In this scene, Freiburger and Dulcich argue the merits of the Impala versus a Maybach, referencing Freiburger’s ride-along in that luxury limo in Ignition episode 126.

On November 24, 2017, Motor Trend premiered the documentary called “200 Club,” tracing the story as David Freiburger and Keith Turk entered the 200 MPH Club at Lake Gairdner in Australia. Our week of Aussie Extras continues, leading up to the premiere of our 200-mph documentary on Friday, November 24, 2017. This time we’re bringing back Roadkill Extra episode 176 with David Freiburger and Keith Turk discussing some tech that’s unique to racing doorslammer cars on the salt flats, dry lakes, and old runways where land-speed racing happens.

When you tune in on Friday (11/24) to see the MTOD-exclusive “200 Club” documentary, you’ll glimpse Freiburger riding in a strange contraption of a push truck that’s used to shove our land-speed-racing Camaro off the starting line at the salt flats in Australia. Here, in this repeat of Roadkill Extra episode 161, you’ll get to see more of what that truck is all about.

As we head into the 11/24 premiere of our MTOD-exclusive documentary about the quest for entry into the Australian 200 MPH Club, we thought it would be handy to refresh you on how speeds are measured and records are set in traditional land speed racing.
