In the season premiere, the duo takes on a formidable challenge: their rented boat breaks down 20 miles off the shore of the Bahamas in the Bermuda Triangle. Times turn desperate and Ruth is forced to administer an enema at sea as Mykel fights dehydration

A raging forest fire surges through backcountry Louisiana and burns down Mykel and Ruth's camp. Lacking supplies and with strong winds throwing embers in all directions, they must decide whether to hold their ground or find a way through the firestorm.

It's flood season in the Amazon, and Mykel and Ruth are stranded in a wobbly canoe. The forest floor has been largely deserted, and the pair struggle to find food. They eventually catch a fish, but have their hands full when it attracts piranhas.

When their raft deflates on the edge of a mangrove swamp, Mykel and Ruth find themselves on a deserted island in the Bahamas. As the pair looks for ways to survive, the dangerous terrain has one more surprise in store for them: quicksand.

When their boat sinks, Mykel and Ruth are left alone on the island of Montserat, directly in the path of one of the most destructive volcanoes in recent history. Together, they must find a way to escape the volcano--and this abandoned island.

Mykel and Ruth are shipwrecked on a deserted island without sources of fresh water. Both must resort to converting washed up garbage into distilling devices for water and contraptions to catch fish, proving that one man's trash is another man's treasure.

When their donkey runs off with all of their supplies, Mykel and Ruth are stranded in California's mountainous high desert. Left with nothing more than a canteen of whiskey, the two must race against the clock to find water in this harsh environment.

Lost in the mountains in Blackfoot Indian territory near Glacier National Park, Ruth falls into an ice-cold stream and quickly descends into a dangerous hypothermic situation. Mykel must rush to make a fire, all the while avoiding a persistent black bear

Stranded in the cold of a crevasse-ridden glacier, our hosts are forced to face the vast, frozen emptiness of Alaska. They must traverse the mountain of frozen glacial ice and its deadly pitfalls to make it down the mountain into bear territory.

Myke Hawke returns to the stomping grounds of his youth when both he and Ruth are lost in the remote wilderness of Kentucky. Despite being handicapped by a bad stomach bug, Myke is determined to get rescued, even with a little help from Daniel Boone.

Ruth and Myke Hawke must make their way out of a vast dark cave under mountains in Croatia, avoiding pitfalls like sinkholes and falling stalactites. Leaving the cave proves even more dangerous, as they dodge lost minefields and scorching temperatures.

Our hosts encounter a freak storm in the Scottish Highlands that force them to scramble down the mountain and toward the coast. They must face heavy fogs, steady rainfall, and two-hundred foot drops off steep cliffs in hopes of finding a fishing village.
