In 1958 Federico Fellini was at a crossroads. He had won two Academy Awards, but no one wanted to make his latest project, "La Dolce Vita." Giuseppe Amato was the only producer who could comprehend Fellini's vision. His thirty years of experience told him that the undertaking would not be without risks, and he was correct. The film would be the most challenging of his career.
