Donkey Kong Country is a new 3-D animated series based on the popular Nintendo game of the same name. Donkey Kong;a.k.a. DK;is to be the next ruler of Congo Bongo. The cast includes Cranky Kong;keeper of the Crystal Coconut; Candy;a true '90's woman and DK's "gorilla my dreams;" Diddy Kong;DK's hyper-but helpful ring-tailed monkey friend and Funky Kong;a surfer ape with a Zen way of looking at things. One of the first of its kind;this groundbreaking series is being produced using "motion capture," a system which uses computer technology and live performers to articulate animated characters.
