Thomas & Friends

The whole island is looking forward to the Fat Controller's grand firework display. James is asked to fetch the fireworks but, when he breaks down, Thomas is sent to help. Thomas and James need to work together to get the fireworks to the display on time.

Its winter on Sodor. 'Arry and Bert claim their electric horns are more powerful than Percy's whistle. The diesels blow their horns causing Percy to roll back into some trucks.

Thomas is collecting the catch of the day from the docks but hates the smell of fish! He decides to take all fifteen trucks in one go but the troublesome trucks cause Thomas all sorts of problems and they crash into Salty, covering him with fish!

A fierce storm blows the roof off Farmer McColl's barn. Emily is sent to fetch some new timber but as the storm has caused a lot of damage to the rail tracks, Emily's route is repeatedly blocked by workmen. Frustrated, Emily is very rude and impatient, telling Elizabeth to hurry up!

A new station is being built. When a runaway train of troublesome trucks becomes loose and hurtles towards the new station, Thomas is navigates a very difficult bend to save the day.

Gordon hears a squeaking noise coming from his engine, then a knocking sound, and worries he's for the scrapheap. But Gordon is surprised to hear that instead of being scrapped, he must be repaired. The Fat Controller wouldn't dream of scrapping the fastest engine on Sodor!

It's winter on Sodor. Emily is happily telling Thomas what to do and how to do it. Thomas becomes fed up with Emily's interference and decides never to listen to Emily again!

Spencer is taking the Duke and Duchess of Boxford to their summer house, helped by Edward. A race ensues and Edward is determined not to let the Sodor engines down. When the Duke wants to stop, Edward takes the opportunity to puff on past, winning the race.

The railway inspector is coming to the Island of Sodor. He will be giving a special prize to the smartest engine so all the engines want to look their best. A last-minute stroke of luck leads Thomas and Percy to win the prize!

It's winter on Sodor and James is less than impressed when all the other engines seem to have more important jobs than him.

Thomas is transporting eggs and must go extra slowly. Frustrated, he speeds up and the eggs begin to crack. Realising what is happening, he continues very slowly, with most of the eggs safely delivered. The Fat Controller declares Thomas a Really Useful engine!

When Gordon gets stuck behind Toby on Gordon's Hill, he tells him that he's not a proper engine. The next day, Toby is nervous but when Gordon gets stuck again and Toby is sent to help, Thomas assures Toby that he can do it!

Percy is chosen to collect a roll of carpet. Salty suggests that the carpet might be "magic", and teaches Percy some magic words. When the carpet's bonds snap and it gets caught in a gust of wind, Percy becomes convinced the carpet really is magic and chases after it.

Thomas is excited to collect the circus from the docks. The other engines offer to help, but Thomas declines. When Thomas's traction rods break, the circus becomes stranded. When James and Percy step in, Thomas realises that sharing work makes things easier and more fun!

When Percy overhears The Fat Controller talking he can just make out the words 'Percy' and 'scrap'. Oh no! He's going to be scrapped!

Its Christmas time and Thomas is working very hard. He can hear the other engines saying "Don't tell Thomas" which makes him sad. But little does he know that they are planning a thank you surprise for him!

The Fat Controller announces some new routes for the summer and sends Emily to Black Loch. Emily is unhappy but the dreaded route turns out to be very pretty indeed. Emily decides that she does like the Black Loch Run after all.

Thomas has worked all night and is very tired. He is to take chickens to the market, sheep to the farm, and children to school. Tired Thomas sets off. Later, The Fat Controller comes to see Thomas. He had delivered sheep to the Market, children to the farm and chickens to the school!

Percy is to help pull passengers and Gordon shows him what to do. Gordon loves showing Percy how good he is at everything but is so busy showing off that he doesn't notice the icy track and slides into a huge pile of snow. Gordon is embarrassed and the Fat Controller is cross.

The Fat Controller is throwing a party to celebrate Lady Hatt's birthday. Thomas is collecting the brass band but leaves the tuba player behind. Thomas listens very hard and finds the tuba player riding Trevor the tractor. With tuba player onboard, Thomas races off to the party.

Henry spots a group of children standing by a tree. Thomas tells him that it is a "Wishing Tree" and so Henry wishes that he could pull the express instead of Gordon. The next day his wish comes true but Henry discovers that sometimes you have to be careful what you wish for!

It's a hot summer day and the ice-cream lady has run out of ice-cream! Thomas must collect more ingredients but rushes to get his jobs done, spilling cocoa beans on the tracks. Eventually, Thomas arrives at the seaside to hear children cheering for him and his ice-cream!

James is to be repainted. James loves being repainted and feels very special.

Diesel teases Thomas that steam engines are to be scrapped. The next day the diesels start coughing black smoke and Thomas is sent to fetch and distribute fresh diesel quickly. With the refuelling done, even Diesel has to admit that Thomas is a Really Useful Engine!
