Thiene's in Veneto was purchased by the family in 1452. Chiara meets the descendant Francesca di Thiene, who accompanies her through the noble rooms of the castle, the historical archive, the gardens, and the luxury stables.

Tenuta Bossi, in the heart of Chianti Rufina, in Tuscany, has belonged to the noble Gondi family since 1592. His descendant the Marquis Bernardo tells Chiara the adventures and stories of his predecessors who conquered Europe over these long centuries.

The abbey dates back to 1392, but the last owner to have bought it was in 1990. His daughter Chiara Mapelli continues to take care of this abbey, now is a villa. In past centuries it was inhabited by Benedictine monks.
