Hyeonjin continues investigating Junhyeok's death while questioning the inconsistencies surrounding the case. As Yujeong struggles with the aftermath of the incident, Rayeong uncovers new leads related to Junhyeok's investigation and begins looking into a secretive network connected to his work.

Rayeong and Hyeonjin begin to suspect that a larger force may be behind Reporter Lee's death. As they uncover connections to the secretive app Connect-In, they search for the truth while facing new threats. Rayeong uses a live broadcast to reach out to victims who have been silenced, hoping to bring them together.

Seonkyu questions Hyeonjin about her secret visit to Junhyeok's place on the night he died. Minseo agrees to cooperate with L and J on the condition that she can stay with one of them for protection.

Rayeong comes faces-to-face with Jeyeol, who appears after 20 years. While investigating the app, Rayeong discovers a suspicious connection between Jeyeol, Yujeong, and the other victims of the app.

Rayeong approaches Jeyeol's wife to secure evidence linking him to the sexual exploitation app. Meanwhile, Sinjae decides to become engaged to Taeju in order to help separate L and J from Haeil. As hidden connections and personal motives begin to surface, the investigation takes an unexpected turn.

Rayeong works to find more evidence that can stop Connect. Meanwhile, when the whereabouts of Junhyeok's laptop containing evidence of sexual exploitation become unknown, Jeyeol is pressured by a Connect user.

After escaping from Jeyeol's house, Rayeong succeeds in obtaining evidence about the app from Jeyeol's phone and prepares to fight back. In response, Jeyeol attempts to reveal the attempted murder case committed by L and J 20 years ago.

Following Rayeong's confession, victims of the app gather at L and J, and the sexual exploitation case begins to gain public attention. Sensing the crisis, Jeyeol attempts to flee.

Imprisoned on suspicion of murdering Jeyeol, Rayeong becomes confused after discovering Minseo's true identity. Meanwhile, Sinjae, who is desperately trying to get Rayeong released, learns that someone is controlling Minseo.

Sinjae decides to join forces with Taeju, and L and J begins the process of dissolution. As Sinjae ruthlessly brings down Haeil, Rayeong starts questioning his unreasonable actions.

Using the evidence obtained through Sinjae's sacrifice, Rayeong delivers the final blow to Taeju. After joining forces to bring Taeju down, L and J continues to deal with the remaining conflicts with the app users.
