Something In The Rain

JINA is heartbroken after being dumped by Kyumin, whom she thought was her last love. Her best friend Kyungsun supports her and reveals the reason behind, prompting JINA to seek revenge. Overwhelmed with work, Jina also has to deal with a troublesome store owner. Amidst this chaos, Kyungsun's younger brother, Junhee, returns to Korea.

Junhee discovers Jina dancing in the office, sparking a subtle emotion for him. However, Junhee mistakenly believes Jina is still seeing Kyumin, while Jina misinterprets Junhee with his colleague Seyoung. Meanwhile, Jina's mother, Miyeon, frustrated by other's wedding invitation, cannot imagine their breakup and invites Kyumin over to ask for their marriage.

In a tense moment, Jina catches Kyumin cheating, prompting Junhee to intervene. Back home, Jina and Junhee confront questions about their own relationship. Misunderstanding Jina's intentions, Junhee initially believes she wants to reconcile with Kyumin. Eventually, Junhee returns to Jina, and they clear up their misunderstandings. They begin enjoying sweet dates together, their feelings deepening.

Jina and Junhee confirm their feelings for each other as they hold hands. They start their exciting, exclusive relationship with long, late-night calls. However, the more Jina rejects Kyumin, the more his obsession grows, and he even visits her at her workplace. Meanwhile, Junhee becomes worried when he can't reach Jina. Following Jina on a business trip, Junhee enjoys a date with her.

Junhee invites Jina to his place, and they spend a day together. However, when a flower basket from Kyumin arrives at Jina's workplace, Junhee becomes furious.

As Junhee's love for Jina grows, he finds it increasingly frustrating to hide their relationship. Jina joins Junhee and his friends on a couple's camping trip, but a snowstorm forces them into an unexpected two-day stay.

Seungho discovers Junhee and Jina's relationship. Junhee sincerely confesses his feelings. Meanwhile, Kyumin meets Jina's father and exposes the relationship between Jina and Junhee. At Jina's company, a survey about workplace sexual harassment circulates among the female employees, causing concern for Manager Gong and Director Nam.

Kyumin kidnaps Jina and drives recklessly, leaving her out of contact all day. Worried, Junhee's heart sinks when he finally receives a call from Jina. Meanwhile, the female employees at Jina's company collectively refuse to attend a company dinner, causing male employees, including Manager Gong, to scramble and observe the women's reactions.

Jina finds some comfort in knowing that her father already knows about her relationship with Junhee, but she is still uneasy about facing her mother. Jina learns from Junhee that Kyungsun has discovered their relationship and rushes to see her, only to be met with Kyungsun's cold demeanor.

Jina is deeply disappointed and angered by Miyeon's attitude of treating Junhee as if he doesn't exist, leading to tense days between them. Young-in ramps up efforts to gather evidence of workplace harassment, while Manager Gong and Director Nam try to win Seyoung over to their side. When Miyeon gets injured, Jina takes on household chores despite being physically exhausted.

Worried about hurting Jina, Junhee lies to her and faces Miyeon instead. Miyeon harshly tells Junhee to break up with Jina. As evidence collected by Young-in points to Jina being at the center of the sexual harassment incidents, pressing her to testify. Kyungsun, who went to a hotel as part of a promise with her father who came to Korea, coincidentally heads to the same hotel as Jina.

Flustered after encountering both Kyungsun and Junhee's father, Jina finds herself preoccupied with thoughts of Kyungsun. Meanwhile, Kyungsun disappoints her unwavering father once again. Feeling guilty about Junhee, Jina wanders the streets. Junhee grows increasingly worried after receiving a call from Seungho, telling him that Jina hasn't returned home.

Unintentionally hurting Junhee by ignoring his father, Jina inadvertently causes him significant distress. For the first time, Junhee explodes in anger towards Jina.He disappears without going to work or answering calls. Director Nam approaches Seyoung, using a promotion as bait, and she persuades female employees to withdraw from the sexual harassment investigation.

After breaking up with Junhee, Jina is tormented by the thought of him suffering. The female employees at the company now openly avoid Jina, and even the CEO tries to persuade her to leave. Jina finds herself isolated. Jina struggles to find a place to live, prompting Junhee to make a significant decision to help her. He then requests a meeting with the company's representative on behalf of Jina.

Jina, unable to bring herself to tell Junhee about moving in to a new apartment, ends up moving without his knowledge as he applies for a job in the States. Meanwhile, under Manager Nam's orders, manager Choi creates derogatory material about Jina, while CEO subtly pressures her. But, she refuses to stay silent. On Jina's birthday, her relationship with Junhee remains strained.

Caught in an unhappy moment in front of her new boyfriend, Jina feels compelled to push Junhee away, while Junhee, who had hoped for Jina's happiness, is deeply saddened to find her unhappy. As they face each other, memories of their past, which they thought they had forgotten, flood back, leaving Jina and Junhee tormented by happy old memories.
