Fred tries to break from his tradition of shooting little bucks and holds out for an opportunity at a true Colorado giant mule deer. A miss at the wrong moment changes everything. kwhunting

Fred brings in the year January 1st with a mule deer hunt in the barren, dry country of New Mexico. He finishes up the year December 31st trying to harvest a whitetail on the last day of the year. This show starts with a recurve in a ground blind and ends with a compound in a treestand. Is his quest successful or does he switch to a gun and quit bowhunting altogether?

This show starts with Fred trying to harvest an antelope. His clients are all filling out, but Fred? Luck doesn't seem to be working out. Then friend Joey Menegatti shows why sniffing your armpit is important.

This is a bowhunting fairytale'..or is it. Fred and Michele's two oldest boys have a trophy 7x7 bull elk, a cow elk and a trophy mule deer come in to the same waterhole in under an hour and a half. Can two teenage boys make the shot, or is Fred left looking at video of three amazing opportunities lost!

Fred and Michele travel to Indiana to hunt with Dale and Sandy Karch, owners of 3Rivers Archery. Both are hunting with their recurves. Who is left crying and who brings home the bacon?

The Eichlers travel to Montana where they have both harvested great bucks in the past. Fred's begging to shoot a doe from day one because the bucks just aren't giving him the opportunities. Will the Eichlers turn into vegans after this hunt or will someone get lucky?

While trying to shoot a mule deer buck Fred spots the biggest mule deer he has ever seen. He has his recurve and the buck has his does. Is it mulie steaks for dinner, or bean soup?

Middle son Seth goes after his first deer with a bow. He has taken a lion, elk, and a hog with a bow. Will a whitetail prove to be too big of a challenge?

Michele is busy cooking for clients at her and Fred's outfitting business. On the last evening, on the last day of season she decides to try a quick hunt on her own. Then family friend Joey heads out on his ranch to see if he can fill out his tags.

Fred and Michele show bear hunting at it's best. Where most bears are taken from treestands, Fred and Michele get down on the ground and close for two bears in Colorado. Then Michele heads to the tree for a bear in Canada, old school.

Fred sticks out like a sore thumb in the crowded Garden State. He finds out that between the houses in small wood lots the whitetails are as smart as they are anywhere. Fred's companions on this trip are two archery icons and Fred learns a lot about the history of his favorite sport.

Fred pursues free ranging aoudad in the Texas hill country. He learns that this animal is one of the most challenging he has ever pursued. A missed shot leaves Fred crushed and stubbornly sticking it out hoping for another shot with a different outcome.
