Lila lives in her own world of words – but she can't pronounce them. Her pronounced stutter prevents her from opening up to others, and so she avoids social contact to prevent humiliation. When she meets Mo, an impulsive and charismatic young man, an unexpected connection develops. Mo is illiterate but full of zest for life, while Lila juggles words but can't get them out.
