Filmmaker Miguel Garay (Manolo Solo) reflects on his final and still unfinished project. During its production, his lead actor and friend, Julio Arenas, disappeared without a trace. Now, years later, he reconnects with members of the crew and Julio's daughter, seeking closure. Spanish auteur Víctor Erice presents a haunting meditation on memory and the enduring resonance of the moving image.
