Intriguing Secrets of Anna Karenina

An experimental project, within the framework of which the ideal casting for the film "Anna Karenina" will be conducted. The ideal Anna, Vronsky and other characters guilty of the tragic ending of the novel will be found.

Episode 2 of the series tells about Steve and Dolly Oblonsky, as well as their prototypes. The first acquaintance with these characters in the novel occurs at the moment when Anna Karenina comes to her brother to reconcile him with his wife.

Episode 3 highlights characters Levin and Kitty. Their storyline is a novel within a novel: Levin loves Kitty, but she refuses him for Vronsky. He takes Anna Karenina's hand at the ball and the girl understands that he will never marry her...

Episode 4 will examine Vronsky. In the work, he meets Anna when she comes to Moscow, at the ball he invites her to a mazurka. Anna flees Moscow, but Vronsky catches up with her, and after a series of events Karenina throws herself onto the rails...

In Episode 5, the character of Alexei Karenin is examined, as a result of which, perhaps, answers will be found about his true feelings for Anna and his involvement in her death.

Not far from Yasnaya Polyana is the Tolstoy family burial site. It is believed that it is there that the woman who became the true prototype of Anna Karenina is buried. Anna Pirogova is L. N. Tolstoy's housekeeper, who committed suicide at the age of 32.
