Aditya Patwardhan, a filmmaker based in Los Angeles, has earned international recognition for his versatile work showcased on esteemed platforms like Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, etc. His projects transcend language barriers, encompassing English, Marathi, Spanish, Portuguese, and Korean productions featured with The Times of India, Quint-Bloomberg, HarperCollins, etc. In 2020, Patwardhan released his debut feature film, "Transference," a gripping psychological thriller with acclaimed industry professionals such as Nicole Cannon, Danny Cannon, and David Russo. (CSI:Miami, Gotham, Judge Dredd). Following "Transference," Aditya directed the thought-provoking environmental docu-fiction, "A Nomad River," in 2021. Supported by the Isha Foundation and featuring notable figures like Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev and Pandit Krishna Mohan Bhatt, the film underscored his commitment to storytelling with a purpose. Venturing into Korean cinema in 2022, Patwardhan helmed "And the Dream That Mattered," a poignant drama set against the backdrop of a mid-life crisis. The film captivated audiences and clinched the prestigious Best Film award at the 26th Korean Cultural Academy Awards. In 2024, Patwardhan ventured into producing with the documentary "Pink Belt," collaborating with Academy Award-winning producer Andrew Carlberg and director John McCrite shed light on inspiring stories of resilience and empowerment. Aditya's upcoming project, "The Web of Life" promises a riveting coming-of-age narrative set featuring Corbin Bernsen and Aaron Douglas. Additionally, Patwardhan is developing a World War II-based mini-series in collaboration with Lucy Walsh and a Sci-fi shot called Infinitum Revolutions with Peter J Wacks. Aditya has a passion for public speaking and has also been a guest speaker at several institutions like the Dakota Wesleyan University, Iowa Motion Picture Association, Boyoca Cultural Festival (Colombia), Indian Institute of Democratic Leadership, University of Colombia, etc. With professional experience in filmmaking, political campaigning, public speaking, and music, he heads the team at his film and media production company Mithraspect, based in Jaipur and Los Angeles.
