Anthony Sabanskis
Director, Writer
**Anthony Sabanskis** is a British writer, director, producer, editor, composer and sound designer whose career spans independent film, documentary, television, music production and audio drama. A multidisciplinary filmmaker with more than two decades of professional experience, he has worked across every stage of production, from writing and directing to editing, scoring and post-production sound. Anthony is best known for directing the feature documentary **Independent Dreams** (2017), which follows aspiring filmmakers pursuing their ambitions within the independent film industry. Released on major digital platforms, including Amazon Prime Video and Apple TV, the documentary celebrates the creativity, determination and resilience of filmmakers working outside the traditional studio system. Alongside his work in film, Anthony has built an extensive career in music production and audio post-production, composing original music and producing sound for television advertising and commercial media. During the rise of the UK bounce scene, his production work helped introduce the energetic "donk" sound to a wider mainstream audience, contributing to a genre that would become a defining part of British dance music culture. His screen credits include **Brain Barrage**, **The Nonduality of Perry Atman**, **Humanity**, **Area OL51**, **B.U.F.O.S.A.**, **The Grey Pages**, and the behind-the-scenes documentary **Inside The Grey Pages**. Whether working in film, television or music, Anthony's projects are characterised by a blend of technical craftsmanship, humour and a passion for original storytelling.
