Faleena Hopkins wrote directed and starred in the award-winning feature film "Just One More Kiss" securing distribution through Lionsgate. However, before the movie had screened even at the festivals it won, the cyber-smear campaign called Cockygate garnered hundreds of false ratings on this platform as well as Amazon. After witnessing her father’s passing, an unforeseen tragedy, she battled in 2023 with an online stalker who hacked her accounts, threatened her life and her family’s lives, and sent her racing across America. A ranger in Teton National Park found her stranded in a blizzard praying for direction, and his ominous attitude caused a 24 mile car chase where she evaded him at, reports say, over 85mph under extreme conditions until road spikes put her in the safer hands of the sheriff’s department who found her sober and "lucid". This was on January 27th. Faleena Hopkins waited in jail for courts to reopen and was released without much ado, her court case completed via Zoom. However she quickly made the news again as her family was unaware of the events and had reported her missing. Faleena Hopkins was never missing nor in danger. She had bought herself a plane ticket to Hawaii, reportedly to recoup, and had no idea the incident had made the papers of the New York Post, People, and Fox. Two years later Faleena Hopkins has been on the forefront of the Vertical Movies and App Platforms, acting in 50+ dramas on a combination of DramaBox, ShortMax, Dreamewave, NetShort, KalosTV to name a few platforms. She is the author of the Cocker Brothers series and has sold over 1 million books as a self-published author. Faleena Hopkins was also a professional photographer for a decade as well as a stand-up comedian for five years in Los Angeles and New York and Atlanta.
