Oliver Kahn

Born June 15, 1969 in Karlsruhe, Baden-Württemberg, West Germany [now Germany]
Oliver Kahn is a German former footballer and one of the most celebrated goalkeepers in the history of the game. He started his career at hometown club Karlsruher SC, but was soon bought by Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich, where he made his name. He is one of the most successful goalkeepers of all time, winning 8 Bundesliga trophies, the 1996 UEFA Cup and the 2001 Champions League. Kahn made 86 appearances for the German national side, where he won the Golden Ball at the World Cup 2002 as well as a runner's up medal.
